THE ROLE
The role of Broadcast Engineer will act as the technical point of contact on events requiring the use of the streaming and broadcast facilities both in office and out on site.
This role will also be involved in the transition from the current virtual format into hybrid and finally towards live as we move through the year.
Key skills include:
Client management / contact
Brief taking
Liaising with internal teams
Operating live production platforms
Rigging and operating studio equipment for live broadcast
Operating visual systems - vision mixing etc.
On-set camera operation, lighting design
Set up and operation of kit in studio / on site
Video editing
Webinair / channel switching / web apps experience
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be able to speak to the clients to find out what they are looking to achieve and recommend kit to use.
We need someone who is forward thinking, who can see a problem coming and do something about it!
