An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Event Manager to work for one of the UK’s leading Independent music organisations. Working alongside high end music labels through to the new generation of independent music makers this organisation celebrate their success in connecting and supporting the independent music community and music entrepreneurs.

My client is looking for an Events Manager to lead their small team running their events portfolio. The ideal candidate will be working with the team on all networking and social events from planning and delivering a range their major music award ceremonies to membership dinners, parties, training events and conferences. The team would also be involved with national and international music industry events.  

The successful candidate would need to work closely with the company’s members to build and drive their ideas, and help deliver dynamic, unique and successful events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A strong experience of events planning and logistics
  • A background within a not-for-profit/membership organisation, ideally within music/fashion 
  • Manage an event from brief through to budget reconciliation and post event reporting
  • A background in running and managing awards ceremonies is a must
  • Booking artists/performers and speakers
  • Strong events experience to lead a team
  • Sponsorhip management and experience

Reporting to: CEO

Salary: £35-£40K (depending on experience)
