EVENT DIRECTOR

2 days home working offered - This is an exceptional opportunity for an Event Director to join an international company and shape their events team and portfolio!

THE COMPANY

This company are truly international, operating around all 4 corners of the globe! Dedicated to education and travel, they have been established for 30 years, organising a variety of exciting and market leading events including trade fairs, workshops and summits that take place in over 15 countries on 5 continents.

This role will be leading a project team, overseeing marketing operations and making key decisions and input into the operational direction of events.

THE ROLE

Due to continued and sustainable growth, they are now looking to expand their events team. As Event Director you will be responsible for:

• 360 management of in person events with a focus on operations
• Commercial oversight and event strategy
• Managing event schedules, timelines and deadlines
• Supplier sourcing and management
• Large scale budget management
• Managing event & marketing teams
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to deadlines
• Working well within a close knit team
• Onsite event delivery
• Post event reporting

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have experience working on large scale international events and be confident managing delivery from end to end - ideally you will have worked within B2B or B2C events previously. You will have managed events teams previously and have had input in event commercials and strategy. For the role, you will be reporting directly into the COO and have the ability to make key decisions. You will be flexible to travel internationally, particularly to Asia.
