THE COMPANY

This beautiful, Grade II listed venue is one of the largest conference and event buildings in the Capital and caters to a range of exciting events including concerts, exhibitions, conferences, academic ceremonies and everything in between. The venues distinctive architecture and grandeur, combined with its central London location make it the ideal venue for a variety of public and private events. They offer 25 varied spaces with capacities from 60 - 2,000 pax and are particularly well known for hosting events of cultural significance.

THE ROLE

With a number of exciting developments currently taking place and an ever expanding event calendar, there is now the opportunity for an Event Manager to take responsibility for managing the day to day event management, with a primary focus on delivering memorable experiences for clients!

This is a broad role that includes:
  • Consistently deliver exceptional service and events
  • Liaising with clients post contract to plan all operational elements of their booking
  • Coordinating service teams and maximising upsell opportunities
  • Overseeing room set ups
  • Meeting and looking after clients throughout their event
  • Managing Health & Safety procedures whilst planning and running an event
  • Account management of key clients
  • Building lasting relationships with all service teams
  • Attending operational planning meetings and coordinating resources
  • Monitoring & responding to client feedback
  • Advising the sales team on any operational requests and supporting on site visits during the sales process


THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have previous event management experience ideally gained from working in a large scale venue or alternatively relevant event industry experience. This role would be perfect for an existing Event Manager who has solid experience within a venue or managing large scale events.
