Our client, a Cambridge college, has a vacancy for a Conference and Events Support Services Assistant/AV Technician reporting to their Conference Manager.

Salary: up to £24,900 DOE
Terms: Full time role, working 37.5 hours per week
Based: Cambridge

The Role 
The successful candidate will be an energetic, well-organised and enthusiastic team player working as part of the Support Services/Conference and Events Department reporting to the Conference and Events Manager.  You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be a self-motivated individual with experience of setting up and operating audio visual equipment at conferences and events.

You must be a team player with the ability to prioritise your workload and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Setting up meeting rooms and moving furniture is also a vital part of the role. Applicants will be part of a multi-tasked team working day shifts and covering evenings and weekends during peak seasons.

You must be physically fit and capable of lifting and moving furniture. Ideally the successful applicant will have a full driving licence.
