THE ROLE

There is now a unique opportunity for a Events Resource Manager to join their centralised operations team where you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of internal and external resource. A broad role responsibilities include:

• Working closely with Client Directors, delivery teams and heads of departments to ensure the appropriate allocation of resource
• Understanding the requirements needed for each projects and resourcing accordingly
• Documenting all resource allocation decisions centrally
• Managing the workload and scheduling of internal teams and external resource
• Maintaining a high level of communication between all teams
• Ensuring jobs are allocated correctly and in line with capacity and client's needs
• Maximising efficiency and effectiveness for resourcing
• Continually networking to identify and on-board new logistics focused freelance talent
• Working with internal stakeholders to support the efficient completion of timesheets

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate must have a proven background of end to end event management gained from working across a broad range of events. Candidates from an event agency would be preferred but other backgrounds will be considered provided they have had experience managing the full operational logistics for events. An understanding of resource management is required and any experience of sourcing or managing freelancers would be an added benefit. Although the role does not involve line management any exposure to managing or developing individuals would be an added benefit as would any experience of working on healthcare focused projects. This role would also suit an experienced Events Manager who no longer wishes to travel onsite for event delivery!
