Hybrid Working (2 days from home) - An opportunity to join a prestigious venue in the heart of London offering their clients a blend of traditional and modern surroundings across 15 event spaces.
The venue is owned by a world renowned medical organisation that deliver highly regarded medical education events for its members as well as hiring out their prestigious venue to external clients. On a commercial basis the venue hosts a range of events from weddings and parties through to conferences and meetings.
Due to continued growth and development there is now an opportunity for a Venue Sales & Event Planner to join the team to reactively sell the services and facilities of the venue as well as work closely with the event management team to ensure seamless events for their clients.
Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure the venue secures future events
Manage internal enquiries and briefs
Manage venue booking software system
Ensure effective diary management
Provide proposals and quotations
Conducting venue show arounds
Selling the correct spaces to each client and upselling where possible
Be creative and innovative in order to sell event spaces
Event follow up and evaluation
Discuss and recommend suppliers
Meet and greets on the day of events
The ideal candidate will have experience in in a venue sales role and will be passionate about event management as well as having excellent communication skills. You will have experience in providing details quotations and proposals and excellent organisation skills.
