An exciting opportunity to join the events team of a long established member's organisation!
THE COMPANY
This member's organisation boasts a versatile venue which offers a multitude of varied venue space within which their members are able to enjoy a thriving social calendar. Comprising of sports venues, stunning gardens, banqueting facilities and meeting space this venue also offers the perfect backdrop for corporate meetings, weddings, private parties, seasonal events and sporting events.
With a solid in-house events, food & beverage and operations team; the organisation are able to offer their members and clients end to end event solutions and exceptional service for event delivery. They are now recruiting an Events Coordinator to oversee the organisation of their exciting portfolio of events.
THE ROLE
As Events Coordinator you will be responsible for the Club's social scene events as well as weddings, parties and other bookings across the venue.
-Organising the member's social programme of events
-Inputting ideas to shape the event calendar
-Managing all pre-event communications in relation to attendance
-Offering exceptional customer service levels to all members
-Holding key point of contact with members throughout the lifecycle of an event
-Working with internal departments such as marketing and F&B
-Coordinating external event suppliers to manage event requirements
-Putting together event P&Ls and working within a given budget
-Managing member and attendee feedback post event
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience working within an event focused role within a private members club environment. Other backgrounds will be considered including venue and membership/not for profit association as well as candidates with experience of managing delegate attendance and communications from an event perspective. We are looking for individuals with exceptional customer service abilities and a high level of attention to detail in relation to event planning. Candidates must be able to access the venue 5 days per week.
