Event Manager - Agency

We are working with a fantastic events organisation based in the midlands who plan and deliver some truly exceptional and creative events!

THE COMPANY

This agency is a specialist in corporate event management and has been delivering exceptional live events to their clients for over 30 years. Their focus, which includes live streaming events is always to deliver the results that count with a powerful combination of passion, expertise and creativity. They pride themselves on being committed to providing events that have a minimum impact on the environment and their policy is to reduce carbon footprint not just on events but through all their business activity. Whilst they strive to reduce carbon emissions, they also try to offset any impact that we do have on the environment.

THE ROLE

They are now looking for an Event Manager to come on board and join the team who will be responsible for the following duties:

 

•          Planning and delivering exceptional events

•          Taking enquiries from clients

•          Liaising with clients, suppliers and venues

•          Communicating with delegates

•          Understand the costing process

•          Working to set budgets 

•          Driving new sales opportunities through repeat business

•          Creating strong business relationships

•          Identify potential new markets

•          Producing event ideas

•          Attend client meetings

•          Leading the event team when onsite

•          Being onsite to deliver and host the event

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have experience in the event or hospitality industry and will be a self-starter, with initiative to make decisions and deliver the required outcomes. This company are looking for a team-player who is keen to contribute, share learning and learn from others with a flexible working attitude. Experience of public speaking would be desirable but not essential.

This position will suit someone who has good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritise and organise own workload. In hand you will be joining a fantastic organisation, delivering some pretty epic team building events.
