DNA Recruit are working with a pioneering Immersive Agency known for crafting multi-sensory experiences for global brands. From hyper-reality experiences to large-scale entertainment events, they deliver memorable moments through cutting-edge technology and creative concepts that captivate audiences worldwide.
 
The award-winning independent immersive studio based in London, is on the lookout for a Head of Business Development to join and lead their ambitious and growing team.
 
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate eager to embrace a fresh challenge by winning fast-paced campaigns in an International Creative Company. You will report to Chief Executive Officer and you will be responsible for planning and executing their sales and business development programs to meet predetermined targets and increase their market share. This role is perfect for a hunter who shares their ambition to be best in class and internationally renowned.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure new business opportunities from our targeted blue-chip clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet business goals.
  • Identify and target appropriate industries and sectors.
  • Lead the marketing strategy to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and major contracts.
  • Create an annual sales calendar featuring key event targets.
  • Identify and participate in key tender processes for the agency.
  • Take a leading role in live presentations and pitches.
  • Oversee lead generation and database management.
  • Attend industry events to network and represent the company.
  • Train and mentor future sales staff.
 
Key Skills Required:
  • Proven success in leading and executing sales and business development campaigns.
  • An extensive network of AAA international brand clients.
  • Experience in building and managing a small sales team.
  • Ability to oversee marketing functions to ensure Sales Strategy alignment.
  • Talent for identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex strategic ideas to potential clients.
  • A relentless drive to achieve success and win.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
 
Experience Requirements:
  • At least five years of successful sales experience.
  • Previous experience in a senior sales role within an agency.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in leading and building a sales team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategies and results to clients and staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and closing critical sales contracts.
 
Salary:
£55-£65k basic depending on experience
OTE £100k. Potential up to £150k if top targets are met.
